About caprolon

The need for modern polymer materials, including the need for engineering polymers, that provide high products strength, low density and durability, is growing every year all over the world. In Russia was designed and manufactured a unique engineering plastic, construction material caprolon (block polyamide 6).

Caprolon feature is the combination of high strength with elasticity in a wide temperature range. This material has high fatigue resistance, abrasion resistance, little creep, low coefficient of friction, UV-resistance.

Sleeve bearings, support rollers, gaskets and seals, conveyor scrapers, wheels of trolleys, pulleys and blocks of lifting mechanisms, equipment for mining of ore and non-metallic materials, drive drums, gears, feed-screws are made of caprolon.

Caprolon is resistant to alkalis. It can be used in contact with the electrolyte. Resistance to oils and gasoline makes it possible to use in widely in mechanical engineering. Resistance to hydrocarbons and petroleum products ensures its reliable use in the oil production and refining industries.

Caprolon is well processed mechanically. It can be sawed, sharpened, milled and drilled. Caprolon replaces steel and bronze in friction units. It doesn’t corrode, doesn’t require painting. The use of caprolon makes it possible to lighten and reduce the cost of many units of machines and mechanisms, to reduce the cost of their maintenance.
