Application of caprolon
|
|
Caprolon (polyamide-6 block, PA-6, PA 6 block) is a multifunction material of constructional and antifrictional purpose. It is effectively applied in the metallurgical, pulp-and-paper, chemical, food, machine-tool constructing industries, in shipbuilding, an agriculture and power engineering at manufacturing:
- friction bearings, guids and bushes of units of friction, working at loading up to 25 MPa, at oiling or dry;
- pulleys, blocks and rollers of load-lifting mechanisms with traction effort up to 30 tonns;
- cases, corbels, centres of wheels and other details to which increased requirements on crash-worthiness are shown;
- gear, sprockets and worm-wheels of various devices and mechanisms with the purpose of decrease in noise level and vibration (up to 15 decibel);
- details of compression and glands for high-pressure systems (up to 500 atm);
- chopping boards (boning) for the food-processing industry;
- replacing steel, bronze, babbit, other nonferrous metals and alloys, and also nylon, laminated bakelite insulation, teflon;
- greatly excel in physicomechanical characteristics ertalon, kapron, polypropylene, polythene.

Slippy - constant of friction less than 0,1 - marks: caprolon-42, caprolon 5-3-0, etc. (oily caprolon, plumbagofilled caprolon).
It is applied: in the units of friction working at greater loadings; in places where high wear-resistance is required. Wear-resistance in 3 times above, than at babbit.
Soft - hardness at a level of rubber - marks from Ì-50 up to Ì-250.
It is applied: wearproof, chemically proof gaskets, sealing rings; linings under beam cutter; scrapers for conveyors. |

We offer glassfilled caprolon of marks ÑÒÏ with the increased physicomechanical parameters and high thermostability for manufacture of high-loaded details. Stably works at temperature up to 160°Ñ, quickly maintains rise in temperature up to 200°Ñ.
Release of any marks of caprolon in the form of plates thickness 4÷8 mm and more is possible.
